All seals from fettlebox on this one. It preferred the tank seal from a Svea 123 to hold pressure. Runs extremely well now. Birthday present from my brother in law. Never seen this tin before. Pretty cool it came in good shape. By what I'm told this is from the 1930's but not sure.
@Remus1956, I love that tin! Never seen one like it! I got a nice deal on a #10 some years ago, from a friend here at CCS. Different than yours in a way. @Sellig33 thanks man...i really like it a lot @Doc Mark I have never had a perfektus before either haha. I wish I actually had all the parts like yours. Mine was missing the burner ring and the windshield. I ended up sending an email to Mike at Basecamp UK for the parts who had the parts and put them on another model 10 to check the fit. Been saved a few times by Mike's parts haha
Also @Doc Mark might you have a chance to look at your NRV down the pump shaft? Mine was a first for me...took a 10mm socket from my toolbox... Photo is also extra parts that were in the tin for the pump... But you can see a nut for the NRV.
How's about this. Does this work for you? Looks like a normal NRV, to me, but as it appears to work as it should, I've not removed it. - Doc
@Doc Mark that one is not like mine but don't know if yours is right or mine is. I tried a standard Primus NRV and only get a turn or two of threads to seal it but was trying to narrow down a loss in pressure but it was not it. This one is a lot longer and tapered shoulder in mine
Yes, it WAS a hard photo to take! As for being right, or wrong: I don't think that way. Yours is very probably "right" for the stove you have, whilst mine is probably "right" for the stove I have. Let's see if some other #10 owners can help in this: @Spiritburner , @Tom Pedersen , @Håvard Kvernelv , @igh371 , @Jan Rømsgaard, and anyone else who owns a Perfektus #10: Can you please check the filler tube, and the NRV in your stoves, and post photos of the NRV here? Any further comments on age and differences in NRV setups, would be much appreciated! Sincere thanks! - Doc PS - The documentation on site, is a bit short. The catalog I'm posting is listed as being from the "1930's?". So, not much help. The filler tube does look very much like mine, but again, hard to see. FYI. @Remus1956 Unfortunately I can't post a photo of the NRV, but I can confirm that it is similar to the @Doc Mark I'm sure your stove is considerably older than mine. Here is one of mine. Perfektus No 10 I wonder if the filler cap on Remus` is a replacement for the original one. Tom
Hello @Tom Pedersen INTERESTING. I dont know if mine is older or not, but looking at it with a loop magnifier I do not see new solder and mine does not have the side screw air bleed off valve. I like the red tin you have though! Better shape than mine.
