Phoebus 625 cap on Primus 107 believe they have 4047 burner. Also here in 625 with roarer plate. Ordered the brass $14.49 also.
(Off topic). I’m wondering if some of the smaller silent burner heads I see via the aliexpress links above would fit a primus 71. I have one that’s headless. Would anybody know the thread size for the 71 bell? -R
@Majicwrench @Daryl it takes about 2-3 weeks to get here. @IRM I don't know man since I don't have that stove. If there was a stove I had that was similar to yours... Hmm...I have a bunch of 8r stoves that have a removable bell...I don't know how big that stove is. Is it like a 2 pint stove or a 1 pint? Where are you located?
The 8r and the 123r have a bigger thread (to make room for the needle). Failing a simple answer, can somebody tell me how to measure the thread? I have some cheap gauges but no idea how to them (perhaps the makings of a howto in the fettling forum). -R

8r and 71 , ???¿??? One minute here, Don't the 8, 123 and 71 the same, 8r, 123r with needle are not the same than a 71. What are you looking for?????
All... My Shmel 4 finally made it from the Ukraine.... This is an absolute beast...I think I'm going to have to get another one... And..... The new Chinese brass caps work in this too...

A bell for the 71. I’ve already acknowledged the 8r has a larger thread to accommodate the needle. If the G43 is too big for the 8r it’s clearly too big for the 71, and the M10 bell fits the 8r it’s still too big for the 71. -R
Funny thing... In the end I'll probably be sitting with a spare 2-3 sets of these caps... And that's still going on with trying to fabricate the inner cap. I'm trying to decide if I'll go looking for more stoves that need the caps and get them cheaper or sell the spare caps. In the end I think the brass doorbell or telephone bell are the closest.
@Majicwrench it's pretty nice actually... It was candling a little in the beginning but it also smelled of gasoline...white gas has solved that... Btw 7 days to Los Angeles...I ordered this brass set on the 7th... Just got delivered here to my front door. They come in a weird little box and a girl in a Kia soul delivered it.
Lastly...I would like to add this... Brass caps work perfect on the Phoebus 625 (even using just the inner cap and the original outer Phoebus cap) Shmel caps work great on the Phoebus 625 (even using just the inner cap and the original outer Phoebus cap) The brass caps genetically work on the Shmel 4... But they need to be tapped around until the flame is uniform around the burner For those who are missing caps for a Phoebus 625... The $14 dollar brass caps are exactly what you need
