As our British friends so nicely put it, it was raining cats and dogs, but I still wanted to put my primus 56 to good use baking some Dutch pancakes.

This is my vapouria no 16 with giant sievert attachment 1081 running on 50/50 Hvo diesel/kero
At the moment heating my house boiler with its 15kw power is great! I use it every day in the winter, very economic does not need power either in case of blackout. Im using it in a water circulated stove....its was made for wood but i rarely use wood nowdays. This (see pictures) is much more fun. You cant imagine the roar....its utterly defening just as i like it!

@Alex H Fantastic, it looks to be loving that fuel mixture. Great to have a self-contained backup, wood or liquid fueled!

Its evolving...two is better than one.... Modified primus 606.
This time pure hvo100 diesel, might be a bit to thick, peobably not the best idea due to soot build up snd need to use the prick quite often...
    30kw of heat...
Third small top burner is for those occasions when you want to brew some coffee...well you can...

Good looking setup! Do you have summer or winter type HVO? I don't know if it makes a difference on the need for pricking though. I've been planning to test if the winter quality would vaporise more easily in Primus Omnifuel.

Over here hvo is the same year round. However the almost extinct ethanol fuel e85 is e75 in winter time, more petrol...
As for pricking it turned out there was some dirt in the burners, nothing to do with hvo - it burns wonderfully now. Hvo in itself is extremely clean for a diesel fuel, i would not use regular diesel in a stove though. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing these experiments. Your heating set up is fantastic, a great blend of old and new!
