palnik jednopłomienny and palnik jednopłomienny two different things - but the same name in military evidence
I actually had all of these on my phone; Optimus 00, from the 70s probably My newest acquaintance, Trangia lookalike 8r Stansport Trail Stove Optimus 199 Best regards, Vidar
A different type of flame shot. Hardly even decorative, and certainly not functional. An Optimus No.10 (sic) is the offender here; aided and abetted by some peculiar wind conditions.
111's first flame shot. Awesome, this is my go to stove when I'm camping and want to scare away wildlife.
@alnl1996 it may just be a trick of the light/photo, but that doesn't look like a very happy 111T... Alec.
I still need to get to know my 8R, I put it in the freezer over night. The last outing, I thought it abit hard to get going.. This morning i took it out, filled the cup with meths: After pre-heat...it's alive: Confidence restored!
Not a production stove but one that holds some sentimental value for me. This stove is the reason I joined this forum. It's a simple penny alcohol stove that I made out of beer cans back in 2006. And still gets used often today. It'll brew a 6 cup espresso pot in 2 min flat. That's just as fast as my most powerful stoves.
Well Rangie you were correct sir. I was having trouble getting full power from my burner. Turned out there was a tiny piece of metal stuck inside the jet. More to the corner of the hole. The cleaning needle would just slide up the side of it. I used some compressed air to free it and noticed a huge improvement in output. And I thought it was performing ok. Good observation on your part
There he is @alnl1996 ! A far happier chappie! I do like a nice 111T Here's a happy Monitor 17B with a Stu @loco7stove Jet replacement, still performing well Alec
Optimus Nova (Sweden), original flame plate, Coleman Fuel, after about a 25 minute sustained low simmer, in near freezing temps.
