Oasis (similar to Optimus 48) as mentioned here (some time ago) but with the Optimus inner and outer cap. Unfortunately it goes into underburn as soon as it is lit with the original inner and outer silent caps. Regards John
A few weeks back I sort-of-accidentally acquired an older-style camp stove off the internet and didn't know what to do with it. I found this forum. I found answers to every question I had. I found answers to several questions that I hadn't even thought of. I appreciate that folks so, instead of annoying you with other questions, though I will have some, I'll just post a shot of my inadvertent (honest!) purchase, post-fettle, doing its thing: (It's a flame shot, it counts) To pass this test, it has boil in a "reasonable time". It took 3 minutes and change for a cup and a half of water, which I'd say is reasonable. IT WORKS The problem now is the next time I buy one, it won't be by accident. Is there any cure for this?
The flame is a bit yellow so maybe a new jet (I know thats not what you were asking but you already know the answer)
My sweet little Radius 20 on tea duty today... Preheat nearing completion... Kettle on... Awesome combustion... Regards, Scott C.
Primus 85, I bought this from someone who had it unfired from an old ironmongers and only lit it a couple of times.
@Matthew92 Very nice! I want one... I see you’ve got a Lilor gasoline heater in the background. I’ve got one with a rotted steel base that I need to replace. Cheers Tony
My Enders 9061D is getting ready for final assembly, just need to fix some small things. Yes, i is a testburn inside a sink in the washroom, easy to flush with water if needed.
