It is. I want to do deep fried chicken. Have to make a pot stand. More to follow. Sorry to say but I found the guts to the other cap I sent you. It was in another compartment of my little fettlebox and I found it after I sent you the caps. Sigh.
Grandfathers old 22 not great in the flame but shes been through a lot in her life right burner distorted by heat but still running.
Here’s my first Pak-Cook Jason model number just Pak-Cook on the tank and has a slant valve. I noticed the jets orifice is off center. That said I was pretty surprised the flames pretty well centered and burns great after a new wick and cap gasket I also gave it a quick cleaning throughout . The burner was missing a flame spreader plate so I put an old cracked one on there that cane from an 8R clone I had. Works ok. My first Pak-Cook. I kinda like it. Maybe I just got lucky as all the things I read about these are bad. Is all breads as a magnet only sticks to the key and pot supports. I might have to go pickup a couple more of these I seen at a thrift store for cheap. View attachment 196668
Thanks @Tony Press As you appreciate Coleman's I may need to start a new thread and ask your advice about their 'fixed pump leathers' You'll see on that last pic that I have the pump tube unthreaded, even with a new leather I seem to have trouble getting air to pump/fill the tube ready for next pump on the up stroke, move the pump rod just off center (as per pic) and pump works a treat. 530 with second home made flame spreader, increased blank disc size to about 31-31mm size. After dishing I got 29mm It's looking ok and got a purr like a pulse jet at a temp of 10c Cheers Barrett
