My recently acquired Primus 535. Flames don’t look quite as orange in real life. Hopefully it’s just old fuel.
Yeah it is, apart from that one blemish on the front right hand side. Bit better condition than this one! It works a treat though and I love it.
Hello all. This is my first Classic stove. It was my father-in-laws. And it has a good deal of camping trips on it. But it still works.
I recently acquired a rather neglected Enders Baby 9063. I spent the last 4 hours cleaning it up, doing a complete gasket and o-ring replacement, swapped out the pump leather, and made sure everything was functioning as it should. Finally fired it up for the first time. Here are the flame shots for your viewing pleasure!
Just bought this today... Took the pictures with the burners on hi. The flame looks good, but I was getting a slight bit of yellow which I'm thinking is from some rust, so will take apart the burners and clean them. Coleman 5424b701
Hi, All, Here are a few shots of my recently found, and fettle very early Tourist Stove, from Albert Lea, Minn, Patent's Pending. Great little powerhouse, and it can simmer, too!! Thanks, and God Bless! Doc
Hi, @Staffan Rönn , Thank you, very much! I was a bit worried, as some of the parts were stuck together, and it appeared that the cleaning needle was missing. But, once taken apart and cleaned, the needle was there, indeed! I love this Old Timers! The cast iron heats up quickly, and holds heat very well. I'll burn a full tank through it, once I get the missing legs replaced with something close. Wish I could get the original ones, but alas, it's just too old, and parts are basically nonexistent. Thank you, again, Staffan! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
Hi mate. This is my valor packaway. The wife new I'd fired it up in the kitchen, cos she shouted from the lounge....."what are you up to out there? .....what's that noise?!!" Lol
This is my first Enders 9061. I really love my 9063 so I picked this up recently. Last night I swapped out the gaskets/pips and oiled the leather. She fired right up. I let it run for about 30 minutes and after about 10 minutes the flame was solid blue. T
@Walter LOL What did she say after she saw your fine stove roaring? (I bet a cold beer, that several of us have done that - and some of us even lived to tell about it ;-))
My first flame shots of a liquid fuel Coleman stove. This is a 4M model and I have not idea how old the fuel in the tank is. It didn't take very long for the flame to get to a nice blue.
