@Francisc Masec That looks fabulous but are you sure that's a heater and not one of those Mexican "day of the dead" masks?

    fully warm.
Although testing a heater at the end of summer isn’t the brightest idea. It’s already hot enough without adding the heat from a bowl heater.

I heard the northern lights might be visible in England. Did any there see them?

    I'm rather proud of this.

I've converted an old Primus R 133 silent burner that was unusable, because of damage to the fixed perforated screen, into a silent burner that accepts the later inner and outer silent burner caps, using only a "Leatherman" and Dremel tools (not a lathe). I'll write up the whole procedure in a separate post when I get some time after some travel I have to do.

    Cheers

A very big THANK You @gieorgijewski

I am still impressed over this stove. Its build to be used for decades - Easy to maintain - build very robust - and the Asbest filled (contained well) heat shield makes it possible to use in hot areas - a good friend from in here are working in Colombia in jungle areas - he first got one PT-2 on recommandation from here on CCS - then he bought another one - they are used almost daily.
On those two pics - the stove has been running only for 1-2 minutes before the pics were taken.
For me - its certainly a keeper!
