Added to my little Prentiss Wabers collection. Drove 35 minutes from home to an estate sale for a Prentiss Wabers Auto Kamp Kook Kit on Saturday. No model number on the tag but from Terry Marsh's site it looks just like a model 3 that was made from 1922 to 1924. I was told that the '23 and '24 models had wings on the lid and this one does not. Mine is missing the legs and the lid supports, I'm sure finding some originals is unlikely but I think I can bend something up. Didn't do much other than some scrubbing and taking the tank off to clean some old dried up gunk out of it. Love the pressure gauge on the tank. The lens has a hole in it but the gauge still works. Came with a neat little funnel and the pump. The pump cup is hard as a rock and soaking in neatsfoot oil. Hopefully it'll come back to life. The fuel delivery system isn't the best design, it takes a lot of preheating to get it to run right and has a significant aversion to any sort of a breeze but its pretty dang cool.
These are very nice stoves. Have one myself and use it a few times a year. Did make some modification so that lite up is faster and easier. Also I use DNA for start up. I do have smaller grates 6" instead of 8" and pressure gage is in the back of the tank.
