To celebrate its 100 years anniversary, Primus produced this stove. Unfortunately it uses propane or butane as fuel, and not something more appropriate such as kerosene…
Not included in the photos is the adapter used to fill it from a propane canister. The sticker on the tank reads “Primus 100 years 1892-1992” and on the burner “Primus 100 years anniversary”. The bottom of the tank in marked: “Primus Sweden butane tara 160g 03-92”.

Finally, to give a reference regarding its size, the Jubilee stove next to a pre 1911 Primus No 1.

    Hi bill

What about chopping up a scrap 96 base. you will have all the bits then. cut the tanks top off and sit the 71 inside ?

Interesting stove! Thanks so much for posting it.

I hope Primus does something better for their 120 or 125 years.

I think, something can be worked out with bits and pieces of primus parafin stove base with legs, camping gaz/msr canister, and bits and pieces you can probably come up with something like that although you would be using disposable canisters.

    Interesting :-k

Notwithstanding its appeal to the collector, what a hideous piece of cack.
It's a good idea and I can live with it being a gassy, but the whole base assembly looks like something they bodged together in the lunch break.
And them feet! No not never no way is them Primus feet.

It is a sad novelty in many ways. If I was to choose a gassy with a nod to the past the RM Rambler would be the one.

The base is about 60 mm across, so it's to small fo a Primus 71 if I recall its size correcly.

Yes, sad really. The qualty is nowhere close to the "original" stoves.
