Primus 71 with H stamped on bottom

    What year would thus have been made. Also have 1 without a letter and a more angled key

    If you look in the Reference Gallery in the Primus No. 71 section, you will find stoves similar to the one you have that is not marked.

    Look for differences such as key, filler cap, safety valve release etc.

    How can a primus 71 be dated from 1918. They weren’t manufactured then.

    Indeed! How could it be 1918? I was just responding to the fact that @Terry Moore said it had “H” on the bottom.

    Maybe it’s not H or not a date stamp.
