Primus mfs 3288 butane minicap underburn

    A while ago I bought one of Gary's 3d printed mini caps for my Primus Multifuel.
    Unfortunately the stove always goes into underburn after some time if used on a low setting.
    I made a video for you all:




    I only tried it with butane because that is the fuel I most often use in this stove.
    Would be nice if you could share your experiences with this combination, or if someone has any idea what I could be doing wrong.

    At this point I really don't know what to do :?

    Check the inside if the cap for loose particles, they look like little white chunks. They could be igniting the fuel inside the cap after the get hot enough.

    Just a thought, I've not had your problem using the same cap.

    Just tried it on a svea 123, no underburn.
    But it also does not get as hot there.
    If I remember correctly, the svea has a .23mm jet, while the gasoline/butane jet for the Primus' is .35mm.
