    Buoyed by my success fettling a spare 4140 burner, I looked out my original-condition Primus No.10 for some photos :D

    It's been stored in the obligatory biscuit tin which has survived well, the label however is long gone.

    I unfolded the newspaper laid in the bottom and discovered a great full-page advert/advice note from December 1973 (Oil/Fuel Crisis really kicking in by December).

    I'll clean the trivet and give it a run tomorrow lunchtime, its always been a strong performer (tempting fate now... :lol:)
