    Hi, In earlier posts there have been two examples of Patent No. plates on No96L stove cases.

    This case design appears to have been in use for the Primus No.96L from the late 1930s until at least 1959:

    Please does anyone have an English translation of this Patent, or details of the principal features claimed in the Patent?

    Ouch, long text and old language standard.
    In short: It's the lid locking mechanism that's patented, not the handle.

    Hi @Odd, thank you very much. I thought that the "fingergrepp" was the main advantage. It really is well thought out and applied. No more split nails when trying to lever open the catch to get into the tin!
