Primus No1 AA question

    Good Morning All,
    I posted information about my new stove in the fettling forum but I have a question about my stove. I have been looking at other stoves but I have not seen this little attachment that is on my riser tubes. It looks like some kind of pre-heater or starter. What do you think?

    Yep, you guessed right. Fill up the spirit cup with alcohol, light it and watch what happens.

    I've always liked those little tube igniters. Several of my oldies have them. I also like the "dimple" reservoir igniters. Very clever.
