Hi all just refurbishing the stove generally mostly just a really good clean. However noticed the plastic knobs missing a small rubber stop which fits against the drive pin on the gas valve. Works without it but allows some slop in the movement. HMMMMM can't have that so rummaging around in the electrical bits unearthed some 50 year old plastic sleeving. For you young folk this is what we had to use before heatshrink. see pics Works like a charm Cheers Rod
yep made all the more sweeter by having saved the piece of sleeving for so long then actually remembering that I had it My wife chides me for hoarding so much stuff so the little wins are sweet cheers Rod
