I aquired a good condition blue Primus clam shell type stove the other day but can't find any info on the net about it. It measures 13.5" x 8.75" x 3.25" with rounded corners, when opening the top lid there is one wind board that swings to the left. The windboard has embossed Primus, Regd trade mark, AB Bahco, Made in sweden, Pat 150515 It has a single burner with a stainless feed line going to the left but with no flame control valve. No other parts came with it, so I imagine it's missing a hose with regulator and flame control valve. Can someone give some info about this one, Model number? I would be looking for parts as well to complete the unit. Ken in Canada. Thanks
Hello Ken, While we all love mysteries, a photo would do wonders for post of your posts. Suddenly you get people rushing to tell you what it is, etc. Iain Even the Spirits don't know what your talking about sometimes.
Hi Ken, Cor, never seen one of those before! They sold a lot of propane stoves in Australia, anyone down there recognize it? Iain The Spirits aren't telling me anything.
Hi, think you will find its an old Tilley. Tilley trojen by name. We used to have a double burner model in the sixty,s Was quite an efficient stove, though a bit too quiet for my liking. I much prefer the roarer primus, although I have around 6/7 silent burners. Bettina.
Me again, just realized you said it was stamped Primus. Our was definately Tilley. YET IDENTICAL, Except ours was a twin burner. or was it like tins of beans, ALL from the same pot, [BUT WHOSE} and all the labels added. maybe someone out there also had the Tilley version or still has and can add further light. Bettina.
