Sleepnrkn you might want to alert whom ever you used to pay with and see if they can stop payment or pull the funds back.

Ebay has had a lot of "same items" listed. Same photo, but supposedly a new item. The photo was copied, posted in the sale, and a fool would buy it because "the price was so good".
The credit card company ended up losing, because of the insurance that we pay for.
Greedy buyers are simply targets for a con man. Old wisdom.

That site is still up and the bargains are still available.
We know things are not right but how do we report these people?
    How do we warn people?

I am ripe to be picked by these scammers as I have done so many successful online deals
based on the belief that most other people are honest.

Thanks to all that have researched these listings and have found them to be false.

Yes they are still alive and well.

This would have to be a bargain $54.96 and no postage cost in USA.

Gentlemen, received e-ml response from them with tracking#. Stoves being shipped from China, and currently on "the move", fingers crossed! Although yet to be seen, wondering about customs charges. As they say, we shall see, we shall see.
Geeves, could you advise about tweaking the Tomshoo gasifier? Had done a test burn on patio and looked great! Of course, I haven't tried boiling or cooking on it to date, but welcome your advise.

    Which stove did you purchase?
    How did you pay?
That is usually all they want, the information.

Apologies, didn't read through. Purchased Optimus 8R, and as stated previously, jumped all over it as I've seen what it can go for everywhere else.

Are we allowed to open a pool or poll on whether or not he receives the stove?
I say "No way, Jose". Not gonna happen.

 I'm a patient person, had bought a chair on Wish before and waited months for it, no biggie. Site indicated roughly 20-30 days, I'm going to play my hand and see. Will include picture when received snwcmpr ;)!

51us for an 8r is good but not great. Coming from China though is a surprise at least. As he has a tracking number something should arrive. Is it a fully functional Optimus stove or a flint striker? Have you done a trace on the tracking number yet?
Ive bought a few things on Aliexpress that have gone haywire. First was a rooftop tent for $120US Too good to be true I know. Aliexpress decided without prompting that the seller was dodgy and refunded my money 6 weeks later. Still lost a few cents due to exchange rate movement. Over Covid though I ordered a new phone. It got stuck inbetween China and NZ for 3 months and the delivery guarantee ran out so I got a refund and reordered the same phone. 6 weeks later both phones arrived together so I had to repay for the first one (ok didnt have to but Im nice like that) so the wife has a matching phone

[IMG] Web picture shows it nice and shiny, which to me (w/o experience with the stove) shows to be refurbished/cleaned from what I've seen here, on YouTube, etc. Appears to be fully functional Optimus, and yes, after snvcmpr's joke I went back and checked tracking status and it's still on the move. Here's the pictures from site:

So originally bought on ebay from California for $170.50 on 23 Jan. Resold from a site based in Alabama, or is it California for $51 & shipping from China?

    This should be interesting!

you need to contact PayPal now and give them all the information you have now and tell them you think this is a scam.
Your stove should not be coming from china the website states all items are shipped from the US
