HI--DAVE IN MINNEAPOLIS AGAIN the attachment is very good photos of my kero-burner and heater from Park..the Korean collector..the stove is an Annby with a built-in pre heater torch. the heater is a Purple Stove Heater. its all very well thought out and constructed. the glowing spring and screen act like afterburners to remove any fumes.it throwns out a lot of heat, enought to heat a tea kettle. Park if your reading this,is it ok to put the kettle on top?? it looks like the flat tops of the nuts are made to hold a pot.. the whole thing has such an "artsy" look to it that it will go into the living room nick-kack shelf. i also plan on taking it on car camping trips. PS>> - helping out a fellow stovie to put this on the net...
that is quite a hansom pc. any clue where another might be found? Now now, stop laughing, had to ask all the same.
I found three model of Captain stove heater(Captain SV-101, SV-102 and SV-201). SV-201 model is listed upper picture. SV-101 has same shpae as SV-201. SV-102 model is more comfort to put the kettle on the top of the heater, you could find the reason. There is no proble to put the kettle on the top. Just it left the mark . I add two model pictures below. Upper is SV-102 and lower is SV-101. Happy new year all of the stove collector ! |imgRemoved| |imgRemoved|
I have to admit that is a very cool looking heater-stove. Are they current issue or out of production and can they be purchased from a retailer? We must here more. Dan
Dear Park, Please let us know more about these stove heaters. I am interested in one, too. Very neat idea, and they look like they work perfectly. How much do they cost, where can be buy one, and how do we do it? Many thanks, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc Mark
