I acquired a HASAG No. 00, but the legs and pump are different from other No.00. It seems there are others who own similar items. Does this mean that this particular HASAG No. 00 is a relatively new type? If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. Thank you.
@Ed Winskill Thank you! @Tom Pedersen Thank you for your reply. I looked at your No. 00 that you mentioned, and it appears that the leg shape is at least different from the No. 00 I posted. That's precisely what I was asking about. (By the way, I prefer the leg shape of your No. 00.)
@camp Beautiful ex you got there! I have red somewhere that they could be bought without windscreen I own one ex couple of years ago, and it miss out the windscreen, could have been trown away, sure, but I have seen a lot other Hasag 00, also without this windscreen, so I start belive it as an option explanation, that the windscreen was just that, an option
@Skauvill Hello! Your English is fine. So there are versions with and without a windscreen? I didn't know that either. The shape of the legs and the pump area are different from the ones posted in the gallery, which made me wonder. If you know anything about this, please let me know. Thank you.
Then there’s Old Norse: “Winskill “, which means windshield or windscreen, or as we like to say “shelter from the wind”….
@Camp numao I have also noticed that the pump cover is different than on the 2 I have. There is no hole in the pump cover on the 2 I have. So the question arises. Is it original on yours or my 2 stoves? However, I am sure that yours is from 1937 or 1938. Tom
@Tom Pedersen I believe both are genuine. There are people in Japan who own both models. However, what I don't understand is why there are two models. I suspect your model is older and more valuable.
@Camp numao Ja, visst nok, om det jeg leste stemmer, så kunne modellen kjøpes uten vindskjerm. Betyr jo da selvsagt at den evt kunne kjøpes til senere
