in my home work about the 8r i have noticed some differences in the picture of the stoves on the web -- these have to with key and the handle: 1) Why do some 8r's have a key and others have that long turner thing with a knob? 2)Why do some 8r's have a handle on the case and others do not 3)Why do some 8r's have the tool/wrench thing on the inside lid and others do not? 4) does the kind of key the 8r has make it more or less expensive or just different ? thanks to anyone who will take time to answer rookie questions -- thanks, Lynn in Canada
I'd always assumed the answer to all your questions was age. Could be wrong though. So at different stages in the 8r life they used slightly different designs, etc just a guess
there is also the "clone" problem--is it real or a knock-off--or has some sort of parts swaping been going on---
thanks guys -- had i spent more time on the site i would have found answers without posting here -- i'll be more with it next time about seaching the site before I post -- thanks --
