    This post-1938 nickel-plated Radius No.6 comes fitted with the 10/36 burner (which includes a cleaning needle), as part of the No.6’s original specification. The original 10/36 burner instructions were also included with the stove.

    Pictured with the stove is the Radius wrench and an unopened packet of original fuel jet prickers. Either the owner always used good quality filtered kero/paraffin, or they had another set which they used :lol:. Maybe the latter!

    The original Swedish version of this 1937 catalogue page the following English translation is taken from, is shown in the picture following this one.

    IMO and personal experience, Radius manufactured exemplary regulated burners that were the best in the business - and this 10/36 is no exception to this. Great stable flame range from simmer through to full flame pressure.

    This side of instruction sheet for the 10/36 regulated burner is in both English and Swedish.

    Left side, the instructions are in Spanish and on the right, French.

    Thanks for the detail.

    I think the printer’s code on the instructions indicate they were printed in 1948.

    The Australian-made Aladdin burners were licenced by Radius. They, too, are excellent.

    Cheers

    Another beautiful example of a Radius in excellent condition.:thumbup:
    Perhaps the previous owner didn’t need to use needle cleaners since he had this burner with a cleaning needle?
    Great photos of the flames!

    @Knee - Many thanks!

    Yes, you are of course correct :content:.
    I should have added in my post that when I acquired the stove, there was no cleaning needle present (had broken off) and so I had to fit a replacement. My comments would have then made some kind of sense…doh!
