My RM stove flares up about 10 or 15 seconds after getting the blue flame going. Using meths to heat up and paraffin in the tank.
I'm a newbie to these pressure stoves, so can anyone give me a clue as to why this may be.
    Thanks, Dave.

Ta for that K. Plenty to check out there.
I'm using commercial kerosene 28 second. Should this work with my stove.

Hi, there should be no problem at all with using commercial Kerosene/ Heating oil in your classic stove.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Thanks for that K. One last question. My burner only has the outer perforated burner cup.
Should it have the inner cup as well?
    Thanks.
