Hi all, second try something went wrong first time I tried to post this...Let's keep fingers crossed! Here are some photo's of The Beast, after a quick clean-up. All systems were in full working order, only oiled the pumpcup and cleaned the nipple with a far to small (0,32mm) pricker. Not exactly a camp stove, but would be a pretty good wok-burner And flames: And some size comparisions: Oooops, a fat cat blocking the view! Let's try again... From the left, Primus N°71, Duo Burn 96, Primus N°210, early Primus N°5 and a Primus N°6. Hope you liked these! Best regards, Wim
Hi Wim awsome new addition to your collection i real enjoy seeing these monster stoves in action i have not yet got one of these my self yet I bet the fat cat never got near it while it was working though
Hi Brian, thanks! I was rather lucky to find this one in Belgium, the first one of this kind I ever saw for sale over here! One day, I'm sure, you'll find the one with your name on! Best regards, Wim
Hi Wim i may find one in the future but i doubt it will be from the bay as they seem to fetch quite a price i may be lucky to find one at one of my vintage steam rallies i gp to in the auto jumble
Wim, My daughter likes this photo I like the same photo, but without the kitty. Thanks for taking the time to line them up like that. I knew it was big, but I couldn't really appreciate just HOW big it was until I saw it next to the other stoves. HJ
Hi Jim, I'm pleased your lovely daughter likes my cat! It is one of six...Plus the cat from next door (spends more time in our garden than in its own) and a long haired ginger one, to scared to touch him/her but likes to come to dinner Yup, the 3069 is a huge beast! I'm glad I found it, won't be used very often but great fun to light it and let it roar! Best regards, Wim
