What a gem! . You should know that Monica Kristensen used this exact model on her 1986-87 south pole expedition. She followed the route of Roald Amundsen, but had to turn around. It was not the stove who failed her!

My Vesta stove with (as far as I can judge) completely unique brass tank. I suppose it might be some sort of prototype, as there are no inscriptions on the outside of the case and the case doesn"t have the "feet" other vesta stoves have.
This is the link for more: Unique Vesta stove with brass tank
    Enjoy, Tonio

    Howdy, All,

As this month's stove does not have to be working (yet!), and as I have a nice stove down in the Hobbit Hole that I have yet to fettle, I decided to share that stove here: 1937 Pre-way Model #367-P Cabin Range!

It can be found here, in the Reference Gallery:

1937 Preway Model 367-P Cabin Range.

I need to see about setting up another CASG event, so we can do some long-needed camping with friends, and also get some fettling completed! Thanks for looking, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
