Checked out Base Camp, no luck, just a part# 2500T which shows a rebuilt "et". Typo? Do not know if that item will work on a Campus 4? Seems the 4 has about the same fire power as a 111, but takes a different style jet/nipple. I was tinkering with my Campus stoves over the weekend and noticed the one takes a tapered jet. Not 100% sure as I had mixed up some old jets I had and had thrown the one out, which turned out was a tapered thread. Since my other worn out jets would not screw in very far, I dug into my work bench trash can and re-installed the tapered thread one which screwed it correctly and the flame was what it was from earlier. I have at least one other stove that uses those, but off hand cannot recall which model. Runs even, but yellowish flames. I was pretty bummed earlier in the day, as I had a slight leak from the spindle packing nut and had to remove the works. While I had the spindle out, I shined it up some and when re-installed, would not shut off completely. Getting upset at this point, I let it all lay a bit while I went to town. Tinkered with it again later, worked much better and that is when I installed the old jet again, so the day ended on a good note as I also got back a "F" fount for my Primus 96, which I had never fired up before as the NRV leaked and I could not remove it and did not want to unsolder the pump tube. I sent it off to a stovie friend to see if he could help me out, I did not want to mess up any factory solders from other areas on the stove. That stove runs pretty good with no peening of the burner needed for a change, runs maybe 95% perfect. Duane
I recently ordered some of those tapered repair jets from Base Camp. I don't know if they will fit a Campus 4 however. This is the reply I got from Base Camp when I inquired about the jets: Hello, thanks for the mail, yes we have the standard repair jet #2500T in stock to fit Optimus 00, 1, 5, 45, 48, Primus 210, at 5.95 Sterling plus shipping. Regards, Mike 'the Stove'
Ben, do you know what they mean by repair? Brought back to specs or for stripped threads in a burner? Duane
Hello Duane I got a jet for Campus 2 from Fogas some time ago. I'm not sure if it will fit a no 4.I took some measurements of the taper. I seem to remember that Fogas called this jet # 2472. Brgds Bjørn
Never heard of them till now! Im assuming these are 'Pitch/tpi' thread specific ? Edit, sorry that didn't come out very well did it, I mean the repair jets thread would need to match the thread (pitch/tpi) of the old burner thread ?
As @boknasild stated, Fogas has these jets: part #2472. Navigate to Kerosene Parts(reservdelar fotogen), and then jets(nozzles, munstycke), the type you need are munstycke konisk. #2472 is the same jet for both the Campus 2 and Campus 4, at least according to the Svea catalogs in the SRL.
Thank you, I'll see if my old computer can bring up Fogas, I had to use my moms newer computer last time, trying to get it working at my place. Fogas in December needed a part # and I could not get one at that time for my Campus 5. I have my friend offering to silver solder over the different Campus 5 jet, not sure of the orifice size. I'll see if I can get the above mentioned jet for my Campus 4. Duane
Well, consulted my stove list, not a 4 but a Campus 2, the 5 at least has the number embossed on it, that's the one I asked about back in Dec. So many stoves, so little time. Was able to access Fogas, have to contact them for export, but they do have tapered jets for this model. Good. Thank you for finding the article/part # for me and how to drill down in Fogas' listing.
