@The Warrior and cabin cooking always tastes much better too. @Remus1956 here is some SOS aka chipped beef on toast
Made some homemade enchilada sauce for some leftover enchiladas and tamales that have been waiting in the freezer to be eaten. Used my 425S (single). Daryl SoCal
looks good @Daryl next time I see you ill have to bring you some proper hatch new mexico red chile powder for you to try
Used my two burner Enders 9065D to cook up some pozole type soup. Not what you would call a soup day here in SoCal with full sun and about 75 degrees (24C) on first full day of spring. Had some leftover pork steak and a can of hominy so what the hay.
@Daryl I love SOS on toast ! I'm interested in knowing more about that coleman 425S and I really like that Enders suitcase stove. Both are new to me. I recently picked up my first Coleman 530 and it's in great condition. I have performed some slight fettling and two light ups so far but no cooking as of yet due to my work schedule. I have a stainless simmer pate on the way atm for some cooking. I need to go find me some gator sausage or perhaps some more crawfish boudin for the first meal and post it on here ! Getting her ready for the first meal after replacing the fuel cap gasket
@Cookie sorry it took so long to get back to you, here you are. Chopped up a 425NL and 413D, both are in the frankies section. Rob from Old Coleman Parts thought they should be a S for single. Very low sturdy singles. Pans feel a lot more secure than on a 500.
Looks like quite a few mil surp items there! A pan from the standard GI còok kit, and it looks like the frying pan from a Mountain Cook Kit if I'm not mistaken. Plus several stoves from various eras. Well done!
Nothing gets past *you*, does it Arch! As usual you are correct, that ain’t Iowa. It’s part of the goose neck area of the San Juan, north of Monument valley. It doesn’t photograph well with my iPhone for some reason. Maybe I have the settings wrong.
