My Coleman 322 Kitchen Stove and trying out a patent date 1887 grill pan I recently found. Its a weird looking pan! Steak from our cow, eggs from the chickens and homemade sourdough bread. That grill pan makes a great toaster! IMG_1884.jpeg IMG_1885.jpeg IMG_1886.jpeg

Fried chicken on the Coleman HGP, baked apples and baked carrots. The chicken came out amazing. IMG_1959.jpeg IMG_1960.jpeg IMG_2003.jpeg IMG_2007.jpeg IMG_2010.jpeg IMG_2011.jpeg IMG_2015.jpeg IMG_2019.jpeg

Good job on the chicken & veggies. Mr. M. ALL home grown? Smart move to do the frying outside, easy to clean up with hose and soap. Nice Night-blooming cereus aka- princess of the night, Honolulu Queen , Christ in the manger, dama de noche, and queen of the night. Mom was Master Gardener and somewhat an expert when it came to cactus. Some of it rubbed off on me. Grew up with plant in yard and one in town that is about 30 feet tall. Plant only blooms at night.

Correction stove above is Shmel 4 from Russia

    Baking a bread/scone thing.
It was tasty but stodgy. I either needed to make the dough flatter or use my Omnia oven. In my defence I was hungry and the breadish loaf was kinda unplanned: I came in for lunch and realised I didn’t have anything to do a lunch and quickly made a dough and put it in the pan.

Nice cooking Daryl!!! Love seeing your stoves and cook gear.

I tried something different, barley tea. Roasted on a 500 and run through my coffee grinder. It made a decent hot tea. I read this makes a good whiskey substitute but its a stretch. Even with some over brewed black tea, agave, cinnamon and vanilla it was tolerable, but not great. Still its fun to try new things. Beef and noodle soup on the Coleman 322. Beef was from our cow. It took an hour and a half on the stove, but was amazing. The next day I reheated it with homemade dumplings. It was delicious two days in a row!!!
