strangest burner head I've seen

very rare shmel -2 modification

body is one casted detail, no soldering or welding
looks great but very hard to do and there is very stupid and serious mistake in it

Does it have a spreader plate, or could a silent outer cap be dropped in on the inner edge to increase the mixing space? obviously no way to fit an inner cap, but would be interested in trying it with just an outer?

 

it has silent flame spreader similar to Phoebus 625 ones

for me its a collectional exhibit, no practical value

 

how old is that burner?--is there anything else about that stove that is strange??--the way the tank was made??--

 

I have a Phoebus 625 burner that has a shorter premixing/heating tube. It makes up for it though with the steel tube coming from the tank.
I guess brass is cheaper than steel?

Interesting to see how stove engineers/designers came up with different ways to make burners.

the problem, on a right side of the picture, L is twice smaller then in common case, left side



the point is that its fully casted and very complicated design

 

Ah your right. I didn't see that. interesting. Makes for a good paper weight eh.
