Nice work ! Most 111t's come fitted with a "M" jet for multi fuel. You can burn kerosene ,Coleman fuel, and alcohol with that jet. The jet may be marked/stamped on top. There is an "A" jet for alcohol that has a larger jet to increase boil times when using that fuel. Best regards, Jeff
check you have the small ring/washer fitted on the spindle and if there is one check it is in the right place, it should be fitted before the graphite packing otherwise the threads will rip the graphite and as you tighten it each time you will push the shreds into the burner,T-bone has had that problem already i think from the same seller Link
I'm have no complaints. With this rehabbing and overall cleaning and repairing, I'm learning to keep my stove in fine fettle for many years, AND I am learning all about how this fascinating piece of engineering works! I am still awaiting one part before final re-assembly, but now I also have the alcohol insert, so I have more fun things to try. I would have been in a world of disappointment if it were not for this site however. Lots of great help and generous people here.
Well, I got mine cleaned and fired it up on kerosene. Beautiful blue flames, nearly silent. Opened all the way to clean the jet, and the valve jammed with the needle in the orifice. I didn't use any unusual force or anything, it just wouldn't open back up. Took apart and found this: Called SG and it's going back for an exchange. I have to say the phone rep was friendly, fast and competent, and promptly emailed a shipping label. Hope I get a better one this time.
