    7 year old thread.
It will definitely lose value if fired. Some do not care about the value though and will fire it up anyway.
And, this is a 1st version so the date is 1955-1958.

Can you imagine an item like this being sold these days with no operating or safety instructions lol? Different times, times when Darwinian theory operated.

    Evening, Guys,

As @snwcmpr may remember, my own V1 Sievert SVEA 123 came to me from the original buyers, who purchased the little stove for a float plane adventure in the NorthWest Territories. I have remained in contact with them, since I rebuilt their old Sievert SVEA, and they are thrilled that their old stove is once again doing what it was designed to do!! I love it!! I do have a few photos that they sent me, of their trip, but none show the little SVEA clearly. In any case, as they used it quite a lot, I'm not afraid to use it, myself! For what it's worth.... Also, I have enjoyed that thread that @Dutchmike shared with us, of him "opening up the tomb" of his NIB V1 Sievert SVEA 123!!! WONDERFUL thread, for sure!!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
