I made this storage box for my Svea 123R.

1/2" Baltic Birch plywood sides were repurposed from a previous use.
Box looks oversized, but was designed expressly for the Svea 123, so it just fits.
The circle in the bottom and spongy gray material at top keep things snug.

Top and bottom are 1/4" plywood, set in dadoes cut in the sides.
Everything was glued together, then cut apart after it dried. As a result, some
excess glue on the inside couldn't be wiped up, so I just let it be.
The dips on the sides were to make it easier to grab the stove.

Draw latch and hinges are stock hardware store items.
Finish was spray shellac followed by spray polyurethane.

    Nice!

Last year I bought a table saw & spindel moulder combination machine and I was thinking to make similar kind of boxes (when I have time...)

Hi Optimust here, a really nice design, & well thought out..
Cabinet makers should look to their laurels, when they are producing work so good. Well done. Best regards, nice touch the dips on sides.

Nice box. I might make one! I am building a kitchen so I will have some oak offcuts.
