Hi, all. I am fettling a Svea Campus 2. There is obviously some kind of gasket/packing material around the regulating spindle (see photo). But on my stove this was totally destroyed; Brittle, broken and gone :-) Getting a new gasket/packing is probably not possible, but perhaps someone know what this material once was? Graphite, bakelite or something else? Any good suggestion is welcome! Håvard Initial state of the stove:
I suggest it would have been graphite, or possibly graphite string. You can get graphite tape from The Fettlebox (link here at CCS), and use this to pack your spindle. Cheers Tony
