Hi. I have had this Svea No. 14 for some time. It was basically just the tank and burner when I got it. The loose parts of the burner were missing, as were the legs/pan supports. Pump, tank lid and air screw came from a Høvik stove. So I have postponed the fettle, until now. I have used a hexagonal 1,5” «blind cap» for the inner burner cap, bought at the local plummer together with a 15mm «support tube» for copper pipes. I grinded the hexagon away, and drilled a 15 mm hole in the centre to fit the support tube. The outer cap is a cut down holder for small candles (tealights, we call them - not sure if it it the same in english). The gasket/pip in the external NRV, and the tank lid gasket had to be renewed. Some legs from a donor stove was soldered on. Now the Svea 14 is up and running. I’m not sure if the power is as it should be, but it works! Will look for the missing original parts in the future. PS. I note that there are (at least) two variants of this No. 804 burner. Mine has no central tube as part of the burner, just a hole. And there are just three rows of holes, - I see others with four rows of holes.
Great repair work, these old burners are well worth the effort! And thatwonde tank lettering too, these older Sveas are wonderful things.
