    Sure looks very nice! They are also not very common.
    Looks like yours was polished with something containing ammonia, this leeches out the zinc and weakens the fount. Try not to use any product containing ammonia! In the long run it WILL destroy your beautiful stove!

    Yes, it is a beautiful stove.
    In addition to what is written above, you will notice quite a bit of bulging of the tank upward, which may be the result of excessive pressure.

    The Svecia No. 4 with the external valve is listed in this, and earlier catalogues.

    @Tony Press I love those old catalogue engravings, they always give the stove tanks much 'sharper' lines than in reality, although this example is obviously a little more rounded than manufactured!

    @Blackdog yes, the “special” svecia were made of a thinner brass, so they were economy models… that’s probably why it ballooned like that :)

    A very nice find anyway!
