    Hi Friends,
Today I'd like to show my another copy of Svecia Special No 5 - this time with external NRV ( a copy with internal NRV I presented HERE ). I acquired it about half year ago - believe me I don't remember where ( or on which auction ). It is fully functional and in a very good shape, so I intend to take this stove with me to Bialowieza for holidays this year.

Very nice- I believe these are amongst the better of the Svea lookalikes. It certainly has some attractive inscriptions and some fine knurling from this era of elegance in domestic stoves.

Bialowieza ha some impressive history too- thanks for the link.

The “Svecia Special” No. 5 is in the Reference Library catalogues from 1911 to 1924. The 1924 catalogue states:

    “SVECIA" Special Patterns No. 1 & 5.

The special patterns are of the same fine quality and have the same advantages as the stoves described above, but through small simplifications we have succeeded in making these stoves at a lower price.

All these Stoves have the large container but are fitted with Burners of either size.

    Made entirely of polished brass.

Imo it's hard to say that this Svecia is Svea's lookalike. For me KFE products have own esthetics ( and aren't "best in the world" ;) )

@Stanisław Grajewski Another fantastic stove of your collection, the lettering and logos on Swedish stoves are superb especially on the earlier examples like this, the triple crown logo is realy nice and even though a small section has been worn away due to use and handling, we can see how well detailed and crisp it is, you have a superb quality stove there Stanislaw

Thanks for your kind evaluation. I only wonder, if the exact dating is possible.
