Hi all, Just been offered a Taylors 030 marine stove, well used! but only 120 quid as opposed to 1200 new.... Problems are that some b******d has cannibalised the burners off it for a project of their own, and nicked the pump from the seperate tank.. Now I know I can pay base camp ?46 a burner, and get some other parts from them too, as quite a lot of them are common to the optimus 155. My local Taylors dealer has most parts too, but you'd think they were made of gold not brass! Not being a german speaker, finding my way around the hitta website has been almost impossible, so here's the question.. Does anybody know where I can get adjustable silent burners at less than an arm and a leg? And does anyone boaty know of a source of secondhand Taylor spares? I'm likely to need a few bits, but I reckon I can finally build the cooker I need (I live on a boat) for about half the cost of a new one, and, more importantly, finally get the bloody Profane cooker off my expensive wooden home!
