The most unusual item in your collection?

Good evening gents!

When I looked at Ross collection I saw some very intressting and unusual items that I never had seen before and I thought: "Some more collectors must have some unusual items"

So, does any of you own one unusual item? Maybe one Rex stove or something else?
I'd love too see some pictures of your must unusual stove-related-item!

Back to the Vakus, I have never heard about this brand either.. When did Vakus start to produce stoves? Did they also made lanterns?

Do you also have the lamp/ mantle attatchment for that stove ?? .. Or is it a Radius 43 im thinking of/remembering ??? No , its not the 43 ... ive got one of those,slow brain here , DUhhhh.., different format entirely (I Think 42 ?). Ok OK One Of the small Radius 'petrol' stoves had a lantern attatchment .............. very rare (or so i'm told) ...see Bart on BBL ....... Hes ( im Sure more Info)..... Whatever/whichever the stove was,,,,,, it also had a blowlamp/soldering/ski-waxer/ MANTEL LANTERN addition to the generator ( All incorported in the carry box/ windshield).. not practical .... but interesting ,,,....Radius .... Interesting stoves/lamps/products ........ & of the best quality

I've one down the shed - a standard 2 pinter silent. I've got pics of a one pinter in it's tin from a collector friend to go on the site.

I have an unnamed stove the same as the second stove down here, like Bryan Miller. An odd stove as it has no maker mentioned on it at all, just advice to use paraffin !

I also have this Nobel stove from the early 1920's. It's a bit cleaner than this now, and works fine, despite its 'character'



The burner is not original, it should look like this :

You must be thinking of the Radius No 143/145/146 lamp?
The lamp base it's a Radius No 21 stove.
And yes, I've those lams aswell. I wouldn't say that they are rare, they are more "hard-to-find".
Here in Sweden they are easy to find but outside Sweden they are hard to find.
I know that the 42 stove had one more part, some kind of a mantle lamp. I've never seen one in the reality, just in one catalouge.
Does any of you guys own this lamp part for the 42 stove?

That stove would look more expensive if you polish it up inte new condition!

Oh yes, fired up at Newark 2006.
I know that Ross has one as well, and another was at Newark 2007, when I called in briefly, but I don't recall whose I was . . .sorry !
