    Bit good ain't they 8)

Aldi sell a non stick two pan and fry lid set in the summer, and they fit a treat in the Lidl clone, I was kindly given a set this year (thank you that man) and this speeds up the boil time even more as the black pans absorb the heat fast

Time a 500ml water boil, see how it compares to a Jetboil 8)

That looks good Cliff, the ends of the pan supports seem to indicate it's a tad warm !

    2 questions

did you do it yor self, or it is a kit?

I have seen smth like this on an old site, but lost link.

Did anybody tried to close the holes in a bottom of trangia kit and check efficiency?

P.S. To the mods and hybrids?

Its not exactly a kap artic but I have just got my self a optimus 85 loke stove.
It is a fantastic thing! I have never seen a silent burner work so well in the wind. It needs a good fettle. Needs a new heat proof washer, a new cleaning needle and silly me I cracked the tube of the NRV trying to undo it (it uses the midi pump like on the 8r). I hope I can solder it (not that I have ever soldered anything before). I have looked at the base camp site so see if they sell the just the cap with out the midi pump. Can't find it.
Anyway despite all this the stove still goes. I have only tried it on kerosene so far. Can't wait to try it in the snow. Once I get it going I will write about how it runs, would love to compare it to these trangia adaptions.

I got the loke from a guy who sold me another stove. He gave it to me free!. It was really cool as I had no idea what a loke was. It has one thing that may interest people building the kap arctic. It has a small x of metal that sits over the burner and allows any type of pot to be used if you take the wind guard off. Will put up a picture soon as it would be easy to make.

    Hello folks,

During the last week I got several inquiries on our Ultima Naltio adapter kit. For your information I just listed the Adapters at eBay!

    Hello guys!

As I'm in the process of clearing out most of my stove items, a "bunch" of burners fitting your KAP-Trangia project will be sold.
There are both the 221 silent, and for those liking the roar, also the 206.
    They are listed on eBay.com

Holy cow. Would that melt the cook kit?! At the very least i bet it voids the warranty ;)

    Is that a 25 or 27?

I've been asleep regarding this post. Brilliant work making the adapters and meshing all the various pieces together. Also, excellent web site on winter camping.

    Hi,

During the last three weeks we have got plenty of inquiries on our adaptor set, surprisingly because I found the present topic from the page 8 at CCS.

The adaptor that connects the burner into the Trangia windscreen was sold out. Therefore we made a new series of that adaptor, and I just listed the set at eBay.

Unfortunately the fuel hose adaptor for Primus pump is currently sold out, but if we get around five preorders from them we will produce also that adaptor.

I've just bought one via the auction.

    Looking forward to setting this up. I have some spare Trangia windshields fortunately - I'm NOT cutting a hole in my old Trangia! =;

Thanks to Bill, who started this thread I have an old 111T I can use the burner off!
