Hey all, I came across this set online I am not sure if it is a 25 or 27. It looks like it is missing it's pot lifter. It would cost me $34 CDN to make it mine (includes shipping). Should I get it? Would the msr panhandler potlifter work with the set? I can pick one up at MEC if it does. And finally with an older set like this one how badly will food stick to the pots and fry pan. Cheers John
I agree with Sparky. Get it! At that price you can't go wrong. It's almost the same price as that triangle thing you were asking about in your other post and you get the burner and full set.
I learned by the age of 13 that frying "dirties" the pans. So I limited my cooking to steaming and boiling everything except fish until I was old enough to have kids of my own and began cooking in dutch ovens. Trail cooking shouldn't require frying much of anything. If it does use the least heat possible and watch it closely. Most cooking misadventures result from cooking by remote control. Your mileage may vary. Gerry
