Hi all. I worked in an outdoors store in the UK in 1988. There was the usual variety of stoves and we had new stock of remote gas canister stoves. One was the epigas alpine stove with its orange rubber tube. The other looked like a clamshell that you unscrewed and the top of the clamshell the screwed onto the bottom as the base. The burner was in the top half of the clamshell and the rim of the clamshell was also the pot support. The tube then unrolled and connected to the standard Epigas cartridge. It seemed a really clever design at the time and the would love to know what it was called. Does anyone remember something similar? Thanks for any memories anyone may have! if I find out what it was, I’ll post an update. Have a great day. Regards Carl
