Turm Sport case hinge

    The original wick one was of no use, I had to dig it out. The new one is ‘stove rope’ wrapped around some twisted brass wire (I repurposed one I’d made for my Turm 36).

    I’m using bioethanol / de-natured alcohol. 96.6% pure according to the label.

    A stove rope is made of what?
    Here is how an original is made of cotton for your information. We believe one made of Fibre glass is best for long term.
    I will try to find a link about the subject for you.
    Middle one is original.
    Left one , Fibreglass.

    Based on a sample size of 3 (this and my twin burner Turm 36) I prefer brass rods.
