Unknown burner - do you know it?

This NOS regulated burner came with some stoves I bought recently. A fellow CCS user @Skauvill suggest it is for alcohol, which seems a reasonable guess.

But - I'd like to know for which stove - any clues ?

Thanks! So, can I create an Optimus 5RAM, by installing this burner on a «normal» Optimus 5, preferrably a Nickel-plated one?

 

I am not sure what the M stands for. Marine or messing?
