Verblifa oil stove made in the Netherlands - Doesburg.
Verblifa is the abbreviation of Paint Can Factory.
For almost a century this factory made food cans as we know them today.

When I bought this tube I knew nothing about this brand. I didn't even know we produced something like this in the Netherlands.
After a short search for the past of this device I found out that it
was made in Doesburg in the Netherlands under Verblifa's own management.
I live 15 kilometers from Doesburg.
This tube was manufactured approximately until 1960, I got this info from an old employee of this factory.
Sometimes other products were also made, such as helmets for the army and paint cans.
I have placed new 8mm round wiks and only cleaned the device a bit.
The heat given off is enormous, the flame is beautiful blue and virtually odorless.

I also didn't know that this factory made these stoves until a year or two back. The factory building still stands and is a hobby shop.

    It's in good condition.
A stove design that's very good for cooking a meal requiring a long simmering flame.
