Hi. A simple question, I guess:
    I have some Primus No. 1 S.or, produced between 1933 (X) and 1950 (AO).

I believe they all had ROARER burners when new?

Some of mine have had their burners replaced with silent burners, but that was a Primus 5 / 5S.or property?

Yes the 1s all had roarer burners as spec, and the 5s silent burners, but there are just so very many random user swaps in all directions:lol:

From 1932, the regulated Radius 10/36 burner became a frequent replacement for the roarer in indoor use and since 1950's, the silent burners seem to be the most common replacements followed by regulated and the roarers mainly used for replacement when outdoor use was the main purpose.
Original burner is roarer on 0, 1, 2 and 3 while 4 and 5 had silent - but most replacements since 1950's on 1 and 1s are silent or regulated.
