Where to look for stove

    I'm looking for a coleman 502 stove made in 1980 for a presant for my son. I am also wanting to find someone who can completely refurbish it so it would be a keeper for him. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated it's for a bolirthday gift in October

    My advice is to be patient and watch the offerings on e-bay frequently. I have given all the people in my extended family a "birthday" Coleman lantern, and some took some time to hunt down. What I think I've discovered is that some months they were building 220 lanterns, and some months the assembly line was making some other products. In several yeas of looking, I could not find a 220 dated 8 78 for my son-in-law. Perhaps they didn't make then in August of that year. I did find, and gave him a mint condition 275 that he enjoys and displays. With luck, you should be able to find a 10 - 80 502.
