I have a Borde stove in the original box, but it's the model (#33, I think)which is sold without a windscreen :? .
Does anyone have a spare windscreen to sell, or a drawing /measurement of the original one, so I can make one??

If you PM me with your e-mail addy I will send you back a PDF scan of mine plus specs. They are really simple all things considered. The adjusting wire, that is another story... :?

I have the perfect windscreen. You'll have to mail me your Borde so that I can make sure it fits though. Returns could take a while (~50 years)

i know this is not what you were after but while i was testing out some stoves for a canoe trip and looking for ways to cut down the weight i found that the screen/pot holder for the Trangia Westwind works for the Borde.
you can flip to over and it will hold a good size pot. 1340207842-mac_borde_kife_71__12___Small_.JPG

Dave, Your Trangia windscreen config; do you find it gets the coil or the flat end of the Borde tank too hot, which may cause the silbrazing to let go?

Chief..the tank was as hot as it gets with the V shaped screen.i thought it might be shielded from the heat but no.
i also flipped the screen over and of course it worked fine that way and the working end of the tank was out in the open more.
thats going to be my pot holder when i want to take the Borde and cut down on the weight.

There's some helpful info here for potholder/windscreen and the adjusting wire (which I need to make but - alas! - haven't gotten around to it yet!).
