Last Sunday’s treasure hunting adventure unearthed this little gem. Original British Army WW2 44 pattern Hexamine solid fuel stove, complete with 3 1/2 of the original 8 Hexamine fuel tablets, even after all these years they still burn as I lit one of the broken pieces, unfortunately the little piece of paper with the user instructions on is missing and the wax card that surrounds the fuel tablets, but other than that it’s in good condition, it’s getting quite hard to get hold of the original one’s now, I’m sure this one will sell very quickly at our next military show. Not stove related but we also picked up an original dated 1942 US military pup tent from the same car boot, but a different seller, we’ve sold that to a good home already and it will get used at military events in the future.
