Hello All, Recently I posted that I have a NOS Meva no1. The top part of the burner is missing. Questions: Did the no1 ever come with a roarer burner and will a Primus roarer work on this stove?. I just ordered a roarer from the UK a week ago. Kerophile?

Hi, Meva marketed both silent and roarer 2 pint stoves. The buner threads are the same for these models.

I reckon that Equivalent burners from Swedish and British stove manufacturers will fit.
If the burners were made in India or China I would have some reservations....it all depends if you are lucky or not.
    Good Luck.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

    Hi MP,
Actually, from your recent gallery post only the burner caps are missing. Standard size caps will fit fine. Meva silent burners have a shorter spigot tube so you'll need to extend it with some brass foil or a short piece of tubing.

The Meva riser will accept any standard Swedish burner both roarer or silent.
There have been discussions about thread problems with the new Asian burners offered by eBay sellers. I don't have experience with these so cannot comment.
