It is a USSR stove. Several people have already posted and provided useful information about this stove. Therefore, I don't have any new useful information, but I'm posting it to increase the number of examples. Purchased in 2023 from a Ukrainian seller. I initially thought this stove was made in Ukraine based on the following information. ・I knew that this stove was a USSR stove. ・This stove had the same color scheme as the Ukrainian flag. However, after reading the included instructions, I found out that this stove is made in Kyrgyzstan. As everyone has already posted, the quality of this stove is low. I purchased an unused item, but I was unable to assemble it properly. Since this stove uses gasoline, I reassembled all the parts to use it safely. Since it has a unique component structure, it was a lot of fun to reassemble it while understanding how it works. What you can see through the opening is a silicone trivet. I added it to prevent the tank from being scratched during use. Therefore, it is not originally included. The storage condition is very well thought out. I want to praise the designer. When in use, the tank not only hooks onto the case, but also has a locking function on the lid. As others have pointed out, there is a hole in the case for operating the needle. However, the holes are not good in case the preheated alcohol drips. I use a small metal paint pan as a countermeasure. The needle operation part is attached in a different place. By adjusting this part, it is now possible to burn cleanly. Equipped with a silent cap with a unique opening pattern, the flame resembles a lotus flower. When I saw this flame, I thought that the engineers at the time were trying to incorporate features that made it different from other stoves. "low heat" "medium heat" "high heat" Although the quality of this stove is not very good, there are many features that are unique to this stove. Thank you.

So to confirm, you partially engaged the pricker to produce better combustion? You’ve perhaps read my efforts with the example I have, which I could only get to produce decent combustion by re-working the fuel control spindle and by levelling off the irregularities in the rim of the outer cap. John
@presscall Hello. I read your posts before buying this stove. Actually, I read most of your posts because they are educational. Some of the improvements you tried are great. However, I did not implement them. I would like to add that I do not intend to criticize you. I don't know why, but when I changed the height of the needle, the flame became either dirty or beautiful, so I stopped the needle at the point where it became beautiful. I'm not an expert so I don't know the reason, but this often happens with lanterns, so it may have been rectified. I would be happy if you continue to teach me various things. Thank you.
@Camp numao Thanks for your reply. Interesting to hear about your use of the pricker needle to tune the burner. I must not have tried that, but could have saved myself some work! It was fun to work on the stove as I did, though, and with a jet change to reduce the size of the jet orifice (a spare jet nipple with a hypodermic needle insert) I can burn jerosene in the stove too. Coleman suitcase stoves rely on partial insertion of the pricker needle in the jet to achieve a simmer, so I shouldn’t be surprised that the Prim does too. I must correct you on one thing, and it’s that you do have considerable expertise! Although I’m glad if my posts have been helpful, I’ve learned a great deal from other members and continue to do so. I regard you as an ‘expert’ (to use your term) and I always enjoy seeing what you’ve achieved.

@Camp numao a beautiful post and as always a great serie of photos, you clearly are a perfectionist! @presscall during the last two years I have been debating and sharing a lot in the Chinese community of collectors. A stove and in particular a burner is more or less appreciated for its capability of burning with the smallest beautiful blue fire. Probably the ritual of boiling the water for the tea requires the smallest fire to make the process slower and quieter (my interpretation). In this regard I have understood and then experimented that the burners that have the needle up when in closed position are the ones that allow the best simmering. As example I take the Svea 1815 and the later 1915. The older 1815 when in closed position has the needle completely up, opposite to the more common design with the cleaning position that is with the spindle completely open. So with 1815 the simmering is achieved by the contemporary flow reduction of the spindle slightly open and the needle closer to the jet orifice (if not a little through it). The 1815 allows a great simmering and a very stable and blue small flame. The later 1915, with the spindle slightly open, doesn’t have a perfect small fire, in fact is better to simmer going toward the cleaning position and using the needle to reduce the flame. This design is the most common. Obviously I am talking about the smallest stable flame achievable, not only a lower power setting. The flamelets must be almost still and extremely level with the outer cap… the outer cap as well must remain also cold and not glowing in any way (that would interfere with the blue color of the flame).
